EuroBrake has been the largest annual gathering of international braking industry professionals since its launch in 2012. The 2019 event welcomed 1,200 delegates to view a technical programme of 150 presentations and an exhibition featuring 100 international organisations.
The 2020 event was all set to attract a record-breaking audience of engineers, scientists, academics and executives from the passenger car, commercial vehicle, rail, and other industry sectors, but COVID-19 forced a change in plans and an acceleration in digital development. This website, the 2020 Technical Programme, Industry Directory, and EuroBrake online community are the initial results of that development, and preparations for the 2021 event are well under way.
Papers at EuroBrake share the latest technical ideas and achievements with influential specialists from all over the world with the opportunity to discuss work with colleagues throughout the industrial and academic communities. Register on this website to access the 2020 EuroBrake online Technical Programme. Submissions are now closed for the 2021 event and authors will be informed of the decisions in early December 2020. Access the Authors’ Area if you already have a submission in the system: 2020, 2021. Visit the About page to see material from previous EuroBrake events.
Featuring more than 120 technical presentations and 100+ international exhibitors, EuroBrake attracts a global audience of engineers, scientists, academics and executives from the industries of passenger car, commercial vehicle, rail, aerospace and the wider industrial sectors. The Braking Industry Directory collects together all of the exhibitors from the EuroBrake events since 2012 and provides an area to find braking solutions all year.
The EuroBrake technical exhibition offers an ideal opportunity to present your company’s products, services and technical capabilities to key decision-makers, from industry players to new entrants in specialist engineering. FISITA provides a choice of exhibitor and sponsorship packages to suit all types of companies, from materials and equipment suppliers, through to component manufacturers and on to software and simulation developers, and OEMs and tier ones.
The EuroBrake Student Opportunities Programme (ESOP) will offer 50 students from around the world access to the EuroBrake online community plus the chance to attend EuroBrake 2021. Selected students will be offered the opportunity to attend EuroBrake via a sponsorship package that offers networking opportunities, a CV-check and one-to-one career advice with HR representatives from sponsor companies, access to the designated Student Lounge and much more.
